Triumph

Photography 101.

The assignment was Triumph. I picked this picture because it kind of looks like a “T” for Triumph. Then I also like the picture, the memory attached to it (being in Northern Maine in the open spaces with three of my kids), and the timing to get this picture in line.

Double

Photography 101.

I had to go with an older photo of our, now 4-year-old, twins. There’s no double that I love more than this double. The twins at one month old.

Edge

Photography 101.

Again, I resort to a hockey theme here, or skating in general. It still amazes me that so much speed, power, control, and agility can be displayed on something as narrow as a razor, the edge.

Glass

The assignment was to incorporate glass into a photograph. Sometimes I think in different terms, and I do spend many hours a week peering through this kind of glass.Glass

Treasure

Photography 101.

There are many things in life that I treasure and one such thing, or place, is the peace and quiet along side a remote forest stream.

I took this picture with my phone yesterday. This is water in a couple of different forms, on top of a body of water. Glen Lake, Goffstown, NH.

Swarm

Photography 101.

I know this isn’t exactly a swarm, nor is it a group of things moving together, but it is a large group of animals hangin out together at Pier 39 in San Francisco.
