Coloring on the floor

Theodore gets a moment to himself and enjoys some coloring. Or scribbling is really more like it. Either way, he was on his own, on the floor, lying on his belly, and free to kick his feet up. I envy the life of my nineteen month old son pictured here. He gets to flop down on his belly, with no worries, and just use the crayons. The picture doesn’t matter. The lines don’t matter. The colors don’t matter. Just a little boy with free time and no cares. I love this picture and the happy moment, coloring on the floor, that it represents.

Theodore has time and space to enjoy a moment with crayons and a coloring book.
